TMT Advisor is CIMI Corporation's market intelligence information service. It is available in two forms:
- A public YouTube video set called the TMT Advisor Planners Briefing, previously published as an emailed PDF and now being shifted to our YouTube Channel.
- A wiki available only to either CIMI Corporation's large retainer clients
or to qualified candidates on a subscription basis. Annual
subscription rates are available on request
Anyone can access our YouTube Channel but we can email notices of new Planners Briefings if you send an email to tmtadvisor@cimicorp.com
with the subject line "TMT Advisor Planners' Briefing Enrollment".
This email must be sent from your company email address, and you
must provide us with the company's name, your name, and your position.
You'll get notifications from the time of reception until you ask us to remove us from the list. There is no specific schedule for these briefing releases, and we do not commit to covering any specific set of topics. Back issues of the PDF-format briefings are available only to CIMI Corporation clients.
The
wiki version of TMT Advisor is a for-fee service that is offered at no
charge to retainer clients and to Netwatcher recipients who have the
Class 2 large-company license. The TMT Advisor wiki is updated
almost every day, with as many as ten items of news with our quick
commentary on each. The material divides the market into four
sections:- Market Ecosystem, covering overall market forces and factors.
- Networking, covering the network space including service
providers, enterprise, equipment vendors, and network-linked regulatory
matters.
- Computers/IT, covering computing and software issues.
- Media, covering media and content, including related regulatory issues.
For each section, we provide a market sector view and a timeline of
events. The former is updated as required and the latter is updated
based on industry activity, often several times per day and always at
least once a day if we have access to the Internet. The wiki provides
notice of periods when coverage will be limited or missing due to
travel, etc..
