CIMI Corporation has published a monthly controlled-circulation newsletter targeted at professionals in the networking industry since 1982. This newsletter, called Netwtacher, is available on a subscription basis only, subject to specific qualifications. Normal distribution is via company license, at a fee ranging from $795 US to $2,195 US depending on company size. A limited number of restricted individual subscriptions may be available to qualified parties under very special circumstances.
Netwatcher is published only as an electronic document, in Adobe Acrobat's PDF format. The latest version of the Acrobat Reader (7.0 or higher) is required to read this newsletter. Printed copies are not available under any circumstances, but company licensees may print the PDF for their own use.
Netwatcher issues are made up of three or four segments. Each month, the issue offers a Management Briefing on the recent events in the telecom industry and marketplace, and two technical sections (Strategies and In the Know) dealing with details of a technology, product area, or market area. Approximately three times per year, the fourth section, Market Area Focus, provides an in-depth look at market conditions in a given service or product area, including some market forecast data.
Once each year, in December, we publish our Annual Technology Forecast, a detailed examination of the business, technical, and regulatory issues that will shape the industry in the coming year. This issue is much in demand, and we recommend that you subscribe in November or earlier to insure your subscription will be processed in time to receive this important issue.
